HydroWorx Pools
This is a very interesting concept in pools. One would think there should be one in every seniors housing complex as well as in your local Physio facility. watch the video and check out the HydroWorx website.
I do not receive any compensation from HydroWorx and this is not a recommendation to buy the product. They sent me a link to their website and asked if I would link my blog to the site.
I must say that it looks very interesting as I have always been a supporter of water (aqua) therapy.

FRUSTDYSLEXIARATION...Cofusing?

Hi everyone
OVERCOMING THE
FRUSTRATION OF
DYSLEXIA
Many people in the world today suffer from a condition known as Dyslexia. It can be a very frustrating experience for both the person and his friends and family.
An older edition of the Awake magazine published by Jehovah's Witnesses offers excellent information on dealing with the condition.
It begins this way.
" 'WHAT is your telephone number?' asks Julie. The caller replies. But the figures Julie jots down bear little relation to the number given.
'My teacher tore up the picture I painted,’ laments Vanessa, adding, 'I could never remember what she was saying.’
David, in his 70's, struggles to read simple words that he mastered more than six decades earlier.
Julie, Vanessa, and David have a learning difficulty—a frustrating one. It is dyslexia. What causes this condition? How can dyslexics overcome the frustration it provokes?"

Brainfitness...Why we all need it.!...

Welcome
Do you think that diet and exercise is the key to a fit body? Would you pig out every day on a steady diet of fast foods, Rocky Road ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, potato chips and soft drinks? Would you kick back in your favorite chair watching the tube all day, every day? Would you surf the net all day, every day, never taking a break . Just siting there with eyes glued to the screen, pushing the little mouse around and clicking every now and then.
How would your body feel about that? Not too great...Right?
Well what about the three pounds of grey matter between your ears? Do the same thing,..............get the same result!
Let me introduce you to another great web site by Posit Science called Brainfitness.
Here is what they say about themselves:
"Not long ago, most scientists believed the brain became “hard-wired” during childhood, and that there was little you could do to improve its function once you entered adulthood. Not anymore. The scientific community now accepts that the brain retains its plasticity—the ability to rewire itself for better function—throughout life. This website is dedicated to educating the public about the brain and cognition, how (and why) the brain can change during the course of life, and what you can do to sharpen your brain."
So let's go find out just what Brainfitness is and why we need it!...
Click Here to enter the "Brainfitness" website

Meet Gabor Olah.......Private Label Rights Expert

Hi everyone
I ran accross one of Gabor's sites the other day and I have to say I was very impressed by the quality of content contained in his PLR products.
Gabor Olah is one of the most sought after Private Label Rights Goto Guys on the internet.
Click Here to go to his central site. You can start exploring from there.
This is what one blogger had to say about Gabor.
"you’re into writing, and find yourself with writer’s block, or if you need an E-Book that you can’t find, check out Gabor Olah’s site, Private Label Rights Downloads. Here’s what the little blurb says:
Get Instant Access to A HUGE, Ever-Growing Package of Hand-Picked,

PLR Audios, Software (Source Code Rights), Affiliate Minisites, Niche WordPress Themes and

An Open Letter!...To Whom It May Concern

Hello Everyone
This is an open invitation to anyone on the web who would like to participate in a marketing test.
The idea is to feature business by products and giving one of them away to one entrant that contributes some content by way of an experience or story relating to the product being featured.
An example might be: If the product were an ebook the entry might require the person to tell us about thier favourite ebook or ebooks. (this builds content)
This is an open letter, however I am limiting the number of participants to 26 (for this test) so if you wish to join in then don't hesitate. Let me know right away.
I must confess this is not my idea. My friend Laura-Jane has been doing this on her blog "Whimfield" for a number of weeks now. I have given her idea a slight twist to see if it will change the results.
This can be a very fun way to increase friends, learn and promote products and businesses all at the same time.
Now here is the letter...
My name is Gary and I have a fun web idea that I think would be of great benefit to your company..
Over the next year I would like to build a list of twenty six web sites that I could feature to my growing group of friends (over 300 now and getting bigger every day) I have chosen to invite your business to be featured.
At the same time I would like to continue to grow a much larger group of friends and have some fun while learning and sharing at the same time by giving away twenty six products. (one every two weeks)
To make this happen I will be using the very latest web 2.0 marketing tools. (yep the social sites like Blogs, Twitter, Facebook and Friend feed etc.)
These are very powerful tools and reach litterly millions of readers every day.
How can you be part of my "Fun And Featured" idea?
Simply contribute one of the twenty six products. It could be an electronic, or real product (your choice but the more value the better)
You give me the details of your business and the product and I add you to my list of to be featured sites (your own blog post and link love gives Search Engine ranking) and place your product details in the cue to be given away at the earliest available giveaway date.
Once the product has been given away I will provide the winner's information and you will ship the product to the winner.
Simple, easy and effective. Only the cost of your one product and shipping is your ticket to growing your business on the most effective marketing medium today. (Web 2.0)
I will continue to feature your business (every week, possibly for years) to my growing group of friends and the millions of web 2.0 users, using the very latest web 2.0 marketing tools. An example might be a blog post listing and linking the top 25, 50, 75 or 100 of my favorite all time products.
If you are interested in joining me in featuring your business in this way just respond/comment to this blog post with a statement of agreement, the details of your product to give away and your commitment to ship the product (once given away) to the winner. Also include your contact information. (email etc.)
As soon as I have a commitment from the first twenty six businesses to respond we will launch the project. (this could happen within the next thirty days)
If you have questions and /or require additional information please contact me at any of the following.

Hello Everyone
Well here it is! New Year's Eve and we are about to embark on our journey through 2009.

Well lets peek in on Lisa of SWBN as she makes "Goal's That Work" one of the better blog posts that I have read on the subject. She explains why setting goals is NOT the same as setting New Year's Resolutions.

Welcome back, so now you know how to set your goals and change your life in one year.
Let's all make 2009 the year that we changed our lives for the better...Big Time!

In black you can read the word GOOD, in white the word EVIL (inside each black letter is a white letter). It's all very physiological too, because it visualize the concept that good can't exist without evil (or the absence of good is evil ).
Now, what do you see?
You may not see it at first, but the white spaces read the word optical, the blue landscape reads the word illusion. Look again! Can you see why this painting is called an optical illusion?
What do you see here?
This one is quite tricky!
The word TEACH reflects as LEARN.
Last one.
What do you see?
You probably read the word ME in brown, but.......
when you look through ME
you will see
YOU!
Do you need to look again?
Test Your Brain
This is really cool. The second one is amazing so please read all the way though.

The Brain That Changes Itself!

Is the term "neuroplasticity" familiar to you?
Do you remember a few posts back I mentioned the book "The Brain That Changes Itself"?
Well the Canadian Documentary Canadian Broadcast Corporation program "The Nature of Things" with host David Suzuki has just aired a one hour segment on the topic.
Join us as we explore the revolutionary science of "neuroplasticity" - a concept that expands not just our knowledge of how our brains work, but how we use them.
For centuries the human brain has been thought of as incapable of fundamental change. People suffering from neurological defects, brain damage or strokes were usually written-off as hopeless cases. But recent and continuing research into the human brain is radically changing how we look at the potential for neurological recovery.
The human brain, as we are now quickly learning, has a remarkable ability to change itself - in fact, even to rewire itself.
The Brain that Changes Itself, based on the best-selling book by Toronto psychiatrist and researcher Dr. Norman Doidge, presents a strong case for reconsidering how we view the human mind.
In Canada you can watch the entire broadcast on line. If you are outside Canada check the website to see if you can order a DVD of the program.
Please do yourself a favour and check out this exceptional information and don't forget to read the book.

Mark Joyner is My Hero...
Mark is a New Zealander (Kiwi) and is the man behind Simpleology. (a web based program to help us get the most out of our lives) I have started it in the past but I tend to drop out without finishing it. (Not really sure as to why as Mark's material is always great)
Here is something that Mark is doing now that i thought I would check out and that you (the reader) might be interested in as well.
I'm evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they're letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.
It covers:
- The best blogging techniques.
- How to get traffic to your blog.
- How to turn your blog into money.
I'll let you know what I think once I've had a chance to check it out. Meanwhile, go grab yours while it's still free.
So do go check it out and let me know if it has been useful to you in setting up your blog and/or getting more bang out of your blog posts.
Mark is a nice guy (really) and I am sure he will appreciate your interest. (hay in fact when I post the link on Twitter to this blog post even Mark himself may follow it back) Imagine the power of Web 2.0 puts you in touch with everyone and anyone on the planet....Imagine...
If you don't have a blog, then get one today. If you have a blog then post a link to it in the comments of this post. Either way go check out Mark's offer...Thanks!
